I keep coming back to lemons. They suit a baby shower in April and a 40th in July equally well, which is rare — most themes pick a side. So this one has grown into three looks rather than one, and they sit here together: blue-and-white Amalfi tile, soft pink lemonade, and a lemon drop line for a birthday where the guests are all grown-ups. Which of the three looks should I pick?
Match your table, not your occasion. Blue-and-white Amalfi if you are laying a long table with tiles, terracotta and greenery. Pink lemonade if the shower is soft and girlish. Lemon drop if there is a cocktail in someone’s hand in every photograph.
Is the pink lemonade set only for a baby girl?
It was drawn for one, but the pink is editable in Corjl like everything else. Drop it to a pale yellow or a soft blue and the same lemons and stripes read completely differently.
Can I mix pieces from different looks?
They share the fruit but not the palette, so an Amalfi blue welcome sign next to a pink lemonade invitation will look like two parties on one table. Stay inside one look and it reads as one.
