A farm party with not one primary-colored barn in sight. One Cute Chick is chickens with a cottagecore streak: soft daisies, speckled eggs, warm neutrals, and a hen who very clearly has opinions. It has been my fastest-growing first-birthday theme two seasons running, and it holds up against a plain wall, which is where most of these photos get taken anyway.
Not sure a farm party is the one? → Twelve first birthday themes side by side, with the colors, the food and the matching printables for each.Designs: one cute chick, two ways. Cream, terracotta, sage and ochre run through every piece, with boho daisies and hand-finished chickens instead of barnyard cartoons. There are two main colorways, beige, fully gender neutral, and pink, the cottagecore-girl version, plus a ranch-styled third design. Built for first birthdays, and because the beige set never commits to pink or blue, it carries a farm or cottagecore party at any age just as well.

FAQ
Beige or pink, which colorway should I pick?
Beige is the gender-neutral set, in cream, terracotta, sage and ochre. Pink is the cottagecore-girl set, softer and a little sweeter. Pick one and every piece in that colorway matches, so the invitation, the welcome sign and the food labels all sit together on the table.
Will this look like a farm party or a nursery-rhyme barnyard?
A farm party. There are no red barns, no primary colors and no cartoon tractors. The chickens are illustrated in warm neutrals with boho daisies, so the room reads cottagecore first and farm second.
Can I mix pieces from both colorways?
You can, and a few hosts do use the beige signage with the pink invitation. If you want everything to match exactly, stay inside one colorway, or grab the first birthday bundle in the colorway you have chosen.
