This is the one that gets forwarded between partners more than anything else I make, usually with no message attached. One good pun, a jar of pickles, and the decorating is basically finished. Pickle green, cream and a little gingham, gender neutral the whole way through.
Want to see the alternatives first? → Twelve first birthday themes, from the very silly to the very sweet, with what to serve at each.Designs: nine pieces, one pun. Pickle green against cream, with gingham edging and hand-finished jars and dills, no pink or blue anywhere. Nine coordinated pieces cover the day: the invitation suite, a second invitation design if the first is not your style, the milestone sign, the welcome sign, favor tags, thank you card, place cards and food labels, a custom sign you write yourself, and the first birthday bundle. It is built for first birthdays, and since the wording is yours to edit, the joke carries just as well to a second or third.
How it works. Edit the text in Corjl in a few minutes, in your browser, with nothing to install. Change colors, swap fonts, resize anything, and reset to the original if you would rather start again. If you get stuck, message me and I can log into your file and sort it out.
Printing. Nine pieces means one print run. Home printer handles the place cards, food labels and favor tags on cardstock, and Corjl Prints (Print button, top right of the editor) handles the welcome sign and milestone board at full size. If you would rather the invitations arrive on proper stock with envelopes included, Prints of Love takes 10% off with code marryful10 (affiliate link, small commission at no cost to you, thank you!).

FAQ
Is One Big Dill gender neutral?
Yes, entirely. The palette is pickle green and cream with gingham, and there is no pink or blue version because the theme does not need one. Every one of the nine pieces sits in the same colorway.
How much decorating does this theme need?
Close to none, which is the point. A jar of pickles on the table, a gingham runner and the printed welcome sign carry the whole look. Green balloons if you want them. Hosts pick this theme when they want a set-up that takes twenty minutes.
Do the two invitation designs use the same wording?
Both invitations are fully editable, so you type your own wording into either one. They are two different layouts of the same pickle-green look, so pick whichever suits your text length and the rest of the collection still matches it.
